New to Grace Temple

For those who are new to Grace Temple

Whether you’re just getting to know Grace Temple or you’ve been around for a while and are ready to learn more, we couldn’t be more excited to help you get connected at GTC and grow in your faith. We will give you an overview of who we are as a church—we call this our vision culture. Vision culture is more than just a statement because we need to live and breathe it; united as a church in our beliefs, values, and purpose as we seek to reach people for Christ.

IF YOU RECENTLY MADE A DECISION TO FOLLOW CHRIST, CONGRATULATIONS!

Grace Temple

The decision to accept Jesus Christ as the leader of your life is the most important decision you will ever make. You’re at the beginning of a spiritual journey that will change your life and we want to help you along the way. Please let us know so we can celebrate with you by clicking here.

If you haven’t yet picked up a resource booklet at the Fresh Start area that further explains your decision and next steps, go through the online resources below for adults and kids:

Following Jesus (for adults)

Following Jesus (for kids)

MAKING THE DECISION IS JUST THE BEGINNING.

We want you to continue to pursue your new relationship with Christ. Here are a few steps to get started:

1. Come on the Sundays and/or Tuesdays – Attend church regularly. It will help you connect with others and grow in your faith. If you must miss a weekend, Join us via streaming and Watch the Service Live or Listen to the Service Live.  Our service times are: Sundays at 10:30 am. and Tuesdays at & pm.

2. Sign up for Spiritual Boot Camp – This course is designed to help you obey the command found in Colossians 2:6-7.
6 And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. 7 Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
As these verses teach, you “deepen your spiritual roots” the same way you received Christ—through faith as you do His will as revealed in the Bible. When a person is truly saved, he or she will want to know more about Jesus Christ to “deepen” his or her spiritual roots. This requires the same faith you demonstrated when you received Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. Salvation is just the first step in obedience. In this 1 ½ hour course, you will be taught fundamental Biblical truths that will help you navigate through your spiritual journey and answer the call that God had placed on your life. Click this link to register for Spiritual Boot Camp.

3. Get Baptized – Once you have made a decision to follow Christ, it’s important to make a public declaration of your faith through baptism.  See a member from our Fresh Start Ministry (booth located at the back of the church) to be scheduled for our next Baptismal Service; held every 4th Saturday.  For information on Water Baptism sign up for our next Spiritual Boot Camp class.  You can also find more information on Believer’s Baptism here.

4. Read Your Bible – Get to know Christ’s heart better and connect with God through prayer. Learn more about the Bible and download daily reading plans HERE.

MAYBE YOU STILL HAVE QUESTIONS…

It’s okay if you still have questions about your faith. If you haven’t made a decision to accept Christ, but would like to know more about it, that’s still a good thing. That means you’re asking questions about spiritual things and how they might relate to your life. Feel free to contact us with your questions.
