This course is designed to help you obey the command found in Colossians 2:6-7.
6. And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. 7. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
As these verses teach, you “deepen your spiritual roots” the same way you received Christ—through faith as you do His will as revealed in the Bible. When a person is truly saved, he or she will want to know more about Jesus Christ to “deepen” his or her spiritual roots. This requires the same faith you demonstrated when you received Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. Salvation is just the first step in obedience. In this 1 ½ hour course, you will be taught fundamental Biblical truths that will help you navigate through your spiritual journey and answer the call that God had placed on your life.
